NEW G0.2 HUB MOTOR MAKES ITS PUBLIC DEBUT AT EUROBIKE 2026

GEM Motors officially launched its new G0.2 compact hub motor at EUROBIKE 2026, held in Frankfurt from 24 to 27 June. The motor made its first public appearance at the company’s stand, which recorded strong visitor numbers and high interest in GEM Motors’ drive solutions throughout the fair.
New compact motor from the EU-funded IN-MOB project
The G0.2 is a compact hub motor for lightweight EPAC and micro-mobility applications, delivering 250 W nominal power, 500 W peak power and 25 Nm of torque in a highly integrated package. It was developed within the EU-funded IN-MOB (Innovative Products for Sustainable Micro-Mobility) project, alongside consortium partners the University of Catania (project coordinator), the University of Florence, the University of Palermo, F&N Compositi, Project Vending, Uneed.IT, Esco srl, Fondazione Marida Correnti, Paseuconsulting and Camara Municipal do Funchal.

The launch attracted OEMs, vehicle developers, and industry professionals looking for compact and efficient drive solutions for the next generation of e-bikes, cargo bikes, and light electric vehicles. The GEM Motors stand welcomed a steady stream of visitors throughout the exhibition, with back-to-back meetings reflecting strong market interest in the company’s technology, particularly its G1.1 and G1.3 in-wheel drives. Visitors also had the opportunity to test the technology on a cargo bike from partner Kleuster, demonstrating its performance in a real-world professional application.
