G1.1 and G1.3: proven performance for demanding applications
The G1.1 and G1.3 in-wheel drive platforms represent GEM Motors’ established solution for applications where higher torque, power and reliability are essential. Both motors are designed for professional EPAC and cargo bike use cases, offering peak torques of 120 Nm (G1.1) and 170 Nm (G1.3), integrated motor controllers, and validated durability under intensive operating conditions.
These platforms are already deployed in production cargo bikes, including the KLEUSTER 350 developed together with Kleuster and Renault Trucks, a purpose-built electric cargo bike for professional urban logistics. The collaboration with Kleuster continues at EUROBIKE 2026, where visitors will be able to experience GEM Motors technology through live test rides on a Kleuster cargo bike.
